Top Sports:
Redbet offers a decent selection of support options, including a UK phone line with an 0203 number.

Forming part of the Evoke Gaming group, redbet has been operating out of its Maltese base since 2004. While the company has had a successful casino for a while, the revamped poker room has been recently added to the site. Also added is an all-new sportsbook which caters mainly for UK and European sports bettors. The whole site is in English, there’s a UK-based customer support phoneline, and you can even deposit in GBP. Let’s take a closer look.

Welcome Bonus

New players at redbet can earn a sports welcome offer worth 100% up to £10. It claims to be a no-strings-attached promotion (i.e. £10 free bet with no wagering) but all qualifying bets on the tenner must be of odds no lower than 4/5 (1.8).

  • Plenty of live betting options on a range of team sports.

Markets and Bets

Football is the biggest market on offer at redbet with markets on leagues from Armenia to France and Bolivia to the Ukraine. There’s a neat OU (Over/Under) market which can run up to the 70th minute of a match only or choose the whole game.

British customers will bemoan the lack of horseracing or greyhound betting. However, for fans of minority sports like speedway, surfing and, er, Trotting, there’s a decent selection of gambling.

Special Features

As with most older sportsbooks, and many of the new ones, redbet offers customers a decent Cash-Out option on markets plus a packed Live Betting lobby. Here you’ll find lots of footie options (over 30 at time of writing, and that was outside the main autumn/winter seasons). There’s a long weekly/monthly schedule of live betting markets coming up. The Cash-Out option lets you end your bets early to earn a smaller profit before a market makes up.

Promotions and Offers

Other than a simple welcome bonus, there’s not much in the way of regular promotions at redbet. The Cash-Out option is pretty standard at online sportsbetting sites but we would have liked to have seen Money Back or an Acca Insurance as a basic offer.

Deposit Methods / Banking

UK customers can make free deposits using VISA or VISA Electron, as well as MasterCard, Skrill, and NETELLER. There’s a Bank Transfer option too, which – while slow – is secure.

Customer Support

redbet offers a decent selection of support options, including a UK phone line with an 0203 number.

Summary

Redbet won’t win any awards for complexity. And with many of the site’s gongs going to its casino wing you can see which side redbet’s bread is buttered. Still, with lots of footie markets and a no-nonsense £10 free bet it’s certainly a secure, safe sportsbook that might be worth your time.
